This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Use located at https://www.larus.com/privacy/  and describes Larus Technologies Corporation’s (“Larus”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of information that applies to your access and use of Larus’s website located at https://www.larus.com/ (the “Website”). The Website includes, but is not limited to, all other sites owned and operated by Larus that redirect to the Website, all subdomains provided through such other site or the Website, the Amplify platform, and all downloadable applications, features, functionality, content or information that is made available or provided on the Website. The Website is made available to you for the purposes of providing you with our products and services, and access to information about Larus and other product offerings (collectively, the “Services”).   

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion, so please be sure to check back periodically. You can tell if this Privacy Policy has changed by checking the last updated date that appears at the beginning of this Privacy Policy. We may, but are not obligated to, provide you with notice in case of any material changes made to this Privacy Policy. 1. What Personal Information Do We Collect And From Where?

• Information you provide us or to the organization that is using our Services: We collect information you provide to us or to the organization that is using our Services, for example by: 

• Reaching out to us for Support: When you contact us for support, we may collect your name, contact information (e.g., email or phone number), your specific requests or feedback, and the content of your message. 

• Creating a user account: When you create a user account to access our Services, we may collect your name, business email address, phone number, and other information about your organization. Information from your account will be used to manage the service(s) you request. 

• Content upload: The use of some of our Services, such as the Amplify platform, requires that you upload documents to be processed, that could contain personal information. As these Services do not target the processing of personal information, we request that you remove personal information from your documents prior to their upload on Larus platforms.  

• Information you provide us when applying for a position with Larus: When you contact us to apply for or inquire about a position, we may collect your name, contact information (e.g., email, phone number, address), your resume or CV (including details of your education, previous work experiences and your qualifications), cover letter, your references, details about how you heard about the position, and information related to any assessment you may take as part of the interview screening process. We may also collect information from publicly available sources that we believe is relevant to your application or a potential future application (e.g., your LinkedIn profile). 

• General usage data: When you visit our Website and use our Services, we may also collect usage data such as from which site you arrived from, your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, information about the date and time of your access as well as how long you use our Services in each session, pages you visit on our Website, and how long you use our Services overall. 

• Cookies: In addition, when you visit our Website, we collect certain information about your activity on our Website, as described below under the heading “Use of Cookies and Log Files”. 

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use the information we collect from and about you to: 

• respond to your requests, questions and complaints; 

• deliver the Services you request or have purchased; 

• assess your skills, qualifications and interest against our career opportunities; 

• vet your information and carry our reference checks and/or conducting background checks (where applicable); 

• assist you with obtaining a work permit (where required and applicable);

• analyze, develop, improve, and optimize the use, function and performance of the Services. For example, Larus will use data for internal research for technological development and demonstration and to improve, upgrade, or enhance Larus products and services to provide more intelligent, automated and predictive functionalities; 

• improve our Website, Services and user experiences, for example, by understanding which pages are the most popular; 

• present our Website and its contents to you and all you to participate in interactive features on our Website; 

• troubleshoot issues and ensure the security of our Services; 

• prevent and investigate possible fraud or other violations of our Terms of Use and/or attempts to harm our users; and 

• for other purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect your information, with your consent or as permitted by applicable law. 

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may collect, create, use, transfer, and store any data about individuals in an anonymous (or de-identified) and aggregated manner for benchmarking, analytics, metrics, research, reporting, machine learning, and other business purposes. 

3. When Do We Share Your Personal Information

There are some circumstances where we may share your personal information with a third party. For example: 

• Your personal information may be disclosed to a contractor, service provider or individual employed or engaged by us to support our business (e.g., analytics and search engine providers that assist us with Website optimization, IT security, cloud storage providers, email distribution and marketing service providers, our billing department). Any such disclosure of your personal information is made on a confidential basis, and the information is to be used only for the purpose for which it was shared and in adherence with this Privacy Policy. Where a third party service provider processes personal information on our behalf, we will ensure that appropriate contractual measures are in place to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal information.

• We may share, disclose or transfer personal information to a buyer, investor, new affiliate, or other successor in the event Larus or any affiliate, portion, group or business unit thereof, undergoes a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, consolidation, reorganization, divestiture, liquidation or dissolution (including bankruptcy), or a sale or other transfer of all or a portion of any assets of Larus or any affiliates or during steps in contemplation of such activities (e.g., negotiations and due diligence). 

• Subject to applicable laws and regulations, we may disclose your personal information to a government agency, court, or law enforcement personnel. 

• We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provided the information. 

• We may disclose your personal information with your consent or as permitted by applicable law. 

4. Transfers Within and Outside of Canada

While we are based in Ontario, Canada, Larus or its service providers may process, store, and transfer your personal information in and to a foreign country, such as the United State of America, with different privacy laws that may or may not be as comprehensive as Canadian law. In these circumstances, the governments, courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies of that country may be able to obtain access to your personal information through the laws of the foreign country. By submitting your personal information or engaging with the Website, you consent to this transfer, storage, or processing. 

5. Your Choices Regarding Your Information

• restrict or object to how we use your personal information;

We may charge you a reasonable fee to access your personal information, however, we will notify you of any fee in advance. 

6. Data Retention

Except as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or regulation, Larus will retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose we collected it for, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When your personal information is no longer required, we destroy or delete it or render it anonymous.

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information in our custody or control using physical, electronic or procedural security measures, including firewalls and encryption, that are appropriate having regard to the nature and sensitivity of the information. We take reasonable measures to limit access to this data to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to perform, develop or improve our Services. 

Please note that the safety and security of your information is also your responsibility. If you have chosen a password to access certain parts of the Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask that you do not share your password with anyone. 

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a minor without verification of parental consent, we will delete such personal information. 11. Limitation of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT MAY ARISE FROM A CLAIM OF BREACH OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law, or $5, whichever is less.
